My husband and I stayed at Mt. Elbert Lodge in the Rinker Cabin for our anniversary in Oct 2007. The views are awesome - several 14er mountains surround it. We took a trip over Independence Pass and on to Aspen while there - the scenery was magnificent. If you visit in winter, Independence pass will probably be closed. The cabin... more

We have stayed at Mt. Elbert twice and plan to spend a week there in 2008. We have stayed in the cabins and not the B & B, so cannot comment on the B & B. The cabins are somewhat rustic but have the necessary conveniences, although no TV or phones, which is OK by us. They do have a... more

This is a nice little B&B with beautiful views. We stayed one day and night at the end of a backpacking trip, six of us in three rooms (out of the five rooms the place has).
