With its central location and being close to Eden and Heligan, Hunter's Moon is the perfect choice for your visit to Cornwall. Four star AA Highly Commended and ETB Silver Award. All four bedrooms are en suite and two of the rooms have super king-size beds, which can be converted into twin beds. The Polgooth Inn is just five minutes' walk away, with other restaurants within easy reach. Quiet location, lovely views, ample private parking.

We spent a few days at Hunter's Moon in August and have booked another short break in September. Richard and Pauline are excellent hosts, providing everything we could wish for and lovely company. Hunter's Moon itself is set in a beautiful, sunny position with lovely gardens and ample parking space. We can't wait to go to Cornwall again in a few days time.

We stayed just a few days, but would happily have stayed a month. Richard and Pauline were perfect hosts, with lots of information and advice about the locality, eateries, car parks, attractions etc. Our room was carefully prepared and maintained and the breakfasts were served with attention to our personal requirements and a pair of friendly faces. They had been friendly and helpful about the booking process and provided advice regarding our journey there especially anticipating what the satnav would lack in local knowledge. Anyone who appreciates a garden will be spoilt. We should love to go again.

While we visited Polgooth we had a lovely stay, Richard and Pauline were very accommodating and friendly. They looked after us well during our 5 night stay, reguarly going the extra mile to lend a hand and keep us comfortable. Highly recommend to any visiting the area.

Our third visit and as fantastic as ever – our bags carried upstairs, the room immaculate and such a comfortable bed. Nothing is too much trouble for Richard & Pauline, whose knowledge of the county is amazing and they’re so helpful with directions etc. Will definitely be returning, there’s nowhere else that we’d stay in Cornwall.

i went to St. Austell with the intention of visiting the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project. I stayed 4 nights (3 days) I visited St. Ives on the 3rd day. Hunter's Moon is within a short taxi ride to both Heligan and Eden Project. St Ives was also quite convenient (two trains from St. Austell). Hunter's Moon is a beautiful house and has a gorgeous garden - very well maintained, Everything was clean and fresh; a lovely comfortable bed. Nice toiletries in the bathroom. Also a refrigerator on the landing for visitors' use. Excellent breakfast- wouldn't have minded some bacon (ha ha - saw in another review) but the scrambled egg was wonderful. Richard and Pauline are very hospitable people.and Richard was very informative about the area. I would definitely stay here again and would also recommend Hunter's Moon to others. Thank you Richard and Pauline!…

We spent a week at this lovely B & B. Our hosts Richard and Pauline were so attentive, and Richard was a mind of information, - didn't need a sat nav whilst there, as Richard was one - spot on with his directions etc. Pauline's scrambled egg was to die for! I especially loved to sit in the conservatory just gazing across the wonderful views. I don't think that we could have found a better place to stay if we'd tried We will definitely recommend Hunters Moon to anyone looking around for B & B in Cornwall Thankyou so much Richard and Pauline.

Have just come back from Hunters Moon and have to say what a great stay. They do a continental Cornish breakfast (their name for it). It was more than enough for us. Very pleasant people. There is a refrigerator on the landing to put things in.

We spent 5 nights at this bed & breakfast wanted to stay longer but time was against us. The Hunters Moon was used as a base for us to travel about Cornwall. Richard & Pauline the owners were so helpful advising the best or easiest routes to get to our visits. The room was a lot bigger than we had thought, very clean, a fridge on the landing which was there for the guests use. Breakfast menu was very good a good selection of cereals, fruit juices, & a nice cooked menu. We had the cooked breakfast and it was nicely presented, the bacon was nice and lean, the eggs were just how I had asked for them, and the plate and food were grease/fat free. If we ever get the chance to go to Cornwall for another holiday we would definitely try & get booked into this bed & breakfast.
