Great place - local hidden gem. We stayed in Elk room, kids loved their ‘cub cave’. Convenient location with 2 min walk to coffeehouse and rest of the town. Everything in the room is carefully put together with very good taste. Exceptionally clean. We’ll be coming back for a longer stay for sure soon.

Very comfortable ‘Victorian’ 10 room boutique hotel with very friendly staff, great common den, private bar with four taps, and excellently appointed furnishings. Spacious rooms have Keurig’s (in addition to house coffee at 7A), contemporary lighting, and top linens. Great beds too. Likely only a couple of years old. Excellent location about 1/2 block from ski bus stop and coffee shop.

We loved staying here. The hotel was lovely. The owner was so helpful and friendly. The location was convenient to the shuttle route. I highly recommend this property. We have already mentioned it to family and friends and would definitely stay here again on our next trip.

As a family of 4 with only 1 non-skier, finding a place to make ourselves at home for the week was top of the list. We were able to do that at Winter Park Chateau. We enjoyed our spacious 2 level room, Mountain Goat + Llama Loft. It was ideal for giving our teenagers their own space upstairs, just like at home :) . We were pleased with the attention to details and modern design shown throughout the property and our room. Very much Hygge! Close distance to the ski slopes made it convenient for me to drive my family in each day. After getting out and seeing the city, I enjoyed reading in the small and quaint round room overlooking the front of the property. We spent a few evenings in the hot tub, and had food and drinks in the lounge. Being able to wash and dry our clothes was a nice convenience too. Beds were comfortable, and our room was cozy. It was a pleasure to spend my time relaxing here each day, and with help from the owner, I always found what I needed. One thing that snow and ice affected was navigating beside other vehicles in the few spots up front, but we managed that. Overall, our stay was pleasant and memorable.…

Winter Park is a gem, stocked full of kind, smart, and friendly people who go out of their way to be helpful. The well-running LIFT bus line takes you anywhere and everywhere in an already walkable town. The food and lodging selection all-round the delightful area is full of good options... BUT the crown of the town for a place to lay the head is the Winter Park Chateau, whoa. This is a must-stay boutique hotel. The Owners could run the world and it would become a far, far better place-our time there was THAT perfectly, generously, operated- we felt welcome, as if we were just visiting our friends at their very beautiful home. Friends who go above and beyond in all they do. Matt and Jessica and their family and crew have reached a feat of success in this tremendous renovation, the tech details are a great story alone. Bear is a glorious room with a soaking tub in the mountain view bathroom and is conveniently located (especially when it is 10 degrees out) next to the balcony shared hot tub where the CO sun, stars, and snow kiss your head. The completely homemade, gooey iced cinnamon rolls with fresh brewed steaming coffee while curled up in a Pendleton blanket in the morning watching the sun come up over the peaks? Yes. More please. We really appreciated a joyful time and recommend highly. …

I took a spontaneous drive into Winter Park and booked a last minute room and Winter Park Chateau. The owners were very accommodating, considering how little notice I provided. The room was cozy and comfortable with it's own fireplace. The shared spaces perfect for gathering with other guests. Would definitely recommend.

Spent one night here on a fall colors tour of Colorado. The vibe is *very* fun; the rooms are very well appointed and comfortable; and Richard was extremely helpful with recommendations for dining. Strong recommend for the Winter Park Chateau! Just a couple of notes: --my room (Antelope) was on the 3rd floor with no elevator. Richard helped get my bags up the stairs (thank you!) but I was traveling with a bunch of camera gear so my luggage was a little heavy. If having to lug your bags up steps is an issue, make sure you get a room on the ground floor, or that someone will be around to help when you check in. --the touchless check-in via text was efficient, but the system asks you to text a copy of your government ID. If you're at all uncomfortable with that, you might want to check in when someone is there to do it in person.…
