Check in was no problem and this resort has a great location. Our unit was on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator. The resort is dated and could use some upgrades overall but it was good for our trip and we enjoyed it very much.

While this place offered a place to sleep, that's about all I can say on the positive side. It was super confusing to get checked in, as the "front desk" is in a completely different location than the condo. It was very outdated and in overall poor condition. Cabinets looked like they were falling off, drawers wouldn't close, stained carpet, washing machine was broken etc., etc. The worst part about it though is that we could hear EVERY SINGLE footstep, moving chair, toilet flush above us. It was incredibly annoying. If you have any other option, I would take it.

Winter Park is a rapidly growing town with so much happening everyone should find plenty to do. These condos are roomy and have garages which are great for a place to keep your bikes or other toys. They are quieter than the ones downtown in the middle of all the restaurants and shops.

A bit musty but clean. Great location. Walkable to town. Beautiful views. Staff helpful and was able to get additional supplies (including batteries for the TV remote) in no time at all. 2BR 2bath. Two twins and one double bed.

We exchanged a timeshare week through RCI for a one-week reservation at this resort in early August. It was a great exchange although I should mention that RCI gave us incorrect check-in information. We found ourselves staring at the locked door of an office that had moved to a new location. After a moment of panic, contacting the resort management company (Stay Winter Park) directly got us back on track. We stayed in Dogwood #10. The best things about the unit were the layout and the well-appointed kitchen. A two-bedroom unit was more than my wife and I needed, but the generous floor plan gave us plenty of space to relax and feel at home. We spent some time on the small deck and enjoyed the commanding view of the village and magnificent peaks of the Great Divide. We're vegetarian and enjoy cooking our own meals, so we were happy to discover one of the best-equipped kitchens we've encountered in dozens of exchanges. I don't know who bakes bread on vacation, but by golly, there was even a bread pan if we'd had the urge. The location is awesome. The building is only a little more than a half mile from the village. We walked down for dinner at Durbar Bistro, the local Indian food restaurant. (Be aware that it's a rather steep half mile, so give yourself plenty of digest time before heading back up.) For a longer walk (2.5 mi), you can go down Vasquez Road, wander along Main St, check out the shops in the village, and head back up on King's Crossing, detouring onto the trail through delightful Wolf Park on your way back to the unit. If you're into hiking, several trails branch off into the forest from right in town. There were a few down sides to Timber Run. The place is old and showing its age although the 70's feel was somewhat nostalgic for us. Housekeeping was spotty. The kitchen seemed oddly lacking in certain items until we realized that there was still a bunch of stuff sitting in the dishwasher. That's about when we discovered we had no dishwasher soap. The toilets flushed very slowly and had a tendency to back up. We found a soggy unopened roll of paper towels under the sink but could not identify the leak or whatever what had caused it to get that way. The large burners on the electric stove were unusable until repaired. (On that note, the maintenance guy was responsive and helpful. The front desk folks were nice as well and seemed concerned about the issues we reported.) The building has free WiFi, but on the weekend days, it was virtually unusable even for getting email. It got better during the week, but it was never terribly reliable. We'd probably go back to Timber Run in spite of the issues, mainly for the location and overall comfort. I think the main problem is that the facility is run by a management company that needs to improve the quality of their housekeeping staff.…

This 3 story condo at Timber Run was advertised as not handicap accessible but I didn't think to ask if it had a elevator.. My mistake however it was great exercise, and I learned to ask questions. The unit was clean but very dated and the kitchen could have used new appliances and more glasses and such. The office staff and the maintenance staff was outstanding and very helpful. The outside of the unit could have used some updating and the grass was in need of cutting.

Our stay at timber run was far from good. There was moldy coffee grounds in the coffee pot, washer was broke before we moved in and the office knew about it but failed to inform us, then refused to fix it until we complained every day. Finally fixed washer 2 days before we left and we only stayed for 7 days. Garage door handle had screws hanging out where we repeatedly scratched or stabbed our selves. Loft shower drain was plugged. Hallway bath tub leaked. We reserved a 1st floor unit due to health conditions as well as had my elderly mother in law with us, confirmed a 1st floor unit but was given a 3rd floor unit soon arrival. Was even put in the wrong building and then the office refused to move us to the correct pre- confirmed building and was given the excuse that it was memorial day weekend. master bath shower doors not secured properly. Was not notified of when house keeping came around for clean towels. Was going to be charged a 30 dollar service charge for new linens with a broken washing machine and the office told us to go use the laundromat down the street. Someone from the office entered the condo WITHOUT our knowledge or permission to replace a picture that was broken when house keeping was cleaning BEFORE we got there and we told them they could just wait to replace it or fix it after we left since they were NOT going to fix the washer until we left. We will not be recommending this place or reserving a condo with this place in the future.…

We got this reservation through our timeshare exchange. The unit we had deposited was a great three bedroom one. Of all the units in Colorado, apparently this was the only one available six months out? The description stated "no elevator ", but our unit was one the first floor. So we get here, "first floor" is either two flights up or down, depending where you park. Had been told there were no three bedroom units, but we are the only people in the building, the three bedroom units are empty. Description did not state there was no AC, it is warm here! There is only one towel per person for the week. When we arrived, the maintenance man had just turned on the electricity. This place is only fun for skiers in the winter.

We stayed as a family and with friends at this 3 bedroom place. We loved it. A nice little kitchen with plenty of cookware and dishes. Our rooms were good and we liked the dining area. It was nice having our own deck. The laundry was available in the basement of our building, so it was nice to have that since we were staying the week. Trails were available right there in the neighborhood. The hot tub was in another building and needs some attention, however we enjoyed it for one night. The furnishings are somewhat dated, but was a cozy place and right for what we needed as we were first time explorers of Winter Park. We cooked a lot of our meals, but found some great restaurants there in Winter Park. The local grocery store was in the neighboring town of Fraser, and depending on traffic could get there in about 5 minutes. We are planning a return trip for next summer. The coolness and no humidity of the mountains was a welcome reprieve from the hot/humid summers of Iowa. Enjoyed the longest alpine slides at Winter Park Resort.…
