During our 7 week holidays in New England and eastern Canada we stayed in wonderful B&B's. We always like to be in one of those inviting, warm and cosy inn's where the owner creates an intimate atmosphere and does feel you at home rightaway. The brochure of this B&B appeals to this feeling stating: 'the warmest B&B hospitality'. I am... more

Chose Starbuck Inn based on reviews on this board. It is located perfectly on the main road but looks out on rolling hills which were ablaze with color. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Kent was the perfect place to visit nearby places is all directions. Peter provides a great breakfast. Can't wait to go back next year. more

We were at a family reunion and the overflow stayed at Starbucks. It was lovely. The breakfast's are delicious and Peter is friendly and fun. And he knows football. more

I am picky but would highly recommend the Starbuck Inn. The inn looks very recently renovated and is spotlessly clean. Our rooms were sound-proofed so we never heard another guest. We were surpised at breakfast to find that there were actually other guests in the house. The inn is down the street from the restaurants and stores of Kent and... more

Travelers to Kent, Connecticut must first understand one thing: There are no chain hotels in Kent -- only a handful of B&Bs, and they are all generally pricey. With that as a given, unquestionably the nicest place to stay in Kent is the Starbuck Inn. Not only will guests feel pampered in accommodations that are meticulously maintained, they will also... more

Starbuck Inn is a recently renovated colonial home that offers the vacation or business traveller a gracious and warm retreat located within walking distance of good local restaurants. We arrived in the afternoon and moments later our guest arrived to join us for tea and yummy cookies and cakes in Starbuck's pleasantly furnished large living room. We chatted through two... more

We stayed at the Starbuck Inn B&B in Kent, CT Easter Weekend 2009. The Inn is owned and operated by Peter Starbuck, whose family has roots in the area. The Inn isn't large, maybe 6 guest rooms total, and staying there feels like being a guest in someone's home. Peter is friendly and knowledgeable and is quick to recommend local... more

I stayed at the Starbuck in Jan 09 when I was doing a winter hike along the Appalachian Trail - it was in fact for a press article. Kent is a lovely town and there are a few places to stay and the quality of all of them looks good. I liked Starbuck a lot: it's clean, homely, comfortable without... more

We stayed at the Starbuck Inn during a weekend in October. Everything combined to make it a perfect weekend --- the weather, the foliage, the Inn and its owner as well as the town of Kent. The accomodations were excellent and the host - Peter - was very friendly and entertaining. The breakfasts that were served were very good. I... more

In the heart of Kent, a quaint village with fond memories from the early 70's. Walking distance to all the village offers. Kent has quaint spots for food, drink, unique shops and galleries. Close driving distance to all the beautiful, natural attractions of the area. Nice decor. Our room was the least expensive at $185. per night. It had a... more
