It's a nice motel, but very overpriced. We were participating in an event in Lakeville and wanted to be nearby. Otherwise we would have chosen something farther away, but more fairly priced. It was ok - room was ok on size, cleanliness and appointments. Continental breakfast was ok, but we've stayed in nicer hotels for half as much. more
Many of the reviews are critical of the establishments in the Northwest Corner of Connecticut. Much of the pricing and available services/ammenities are reflective of a small, rural area located within a high rent/high tax area. This is a quiet part of a high density state and though it is near New York City, it cannot replicate New York City.
When we made our reservation we told them we had a small dog and asked if they were pet friendly and we were told yes.The next day they claimed we hadn't told them about our dog and that we would have to move to another room and we were to be charged $500.00 extra! We have had many people who sneak their dogs into our pet-friendly inn. We do not charge a deposit; however, we do request disclosure. This is not an arbitrary matter. We do have guests who are life-threateningly allergic to pet dander. There are many guests who decide if we are pet-friendly it means they can stay wherever they want and...
I wouldn't recommend staying at the inn unless there were no other options. The room was clean enough, but the shower in the bathroom had been overlooked. The shower head had mold on it, as did the shower curtain. If I visit the area again, I'll look for other accomodations. more
The Inn at Iron Masters is essentially a motel - a motel that charges way too much for what it has to offer. The rooms were clean, but they were nothing special. With so many other wonderful lodging options in the area for the exact same price, I would definitely plan ahead to stay at one of the other inns. more

This motel has nice atmosphere with good sized rooms. They also have a good continental breakfast and a a fenced in pool surronded by a peaceful flower garden. However, the rates in the summer are steep for what you get. It is located in beautiful Lakeville Conneticuit. more
