I had a very brief overnight stay at the Comfort Inn in Meriden, CT and found the accomodations to be more than acceptable. The room was generous and the bed was as comfortable as a Marriott bed. For the rate, this hotel is a great value. Close to I-91, Rt. 15, Bradley Airport (35 minutes?), New Haven, etc., etc. It looks like a brand new hotel, and there are some cheap dining options within walking distance. Stayed one night on business travel after reading some positive reviews on the property. When I checked in there were a bunch of workers there (so I thought) with a big bunch of them grouped *directly* blocking the front entrance, smoking up a storm. Lovely. Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights for a family wedding.... exceptionally clean rooms, wonderful staff - they were helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel for those travelling to CT or Boston. They supplied breakfast with the room, and the staff even suppied chocolate and home baked cookies for the guests!! more
