Standard double room was large, clean and comfortable. Mattresses too soft for me. Decent shower and good-sized bathroom, all the standard amenities in the room. “Nice Place, Nice Bar”

Very nice upscale place at a reasonable price. Grounds were very nice as were the staff. Rooms big and very comfortable. The food and the bar above average. Nice place to stay while on business. They do nicke and dime you on parking and bottle water.

“Nice Place”

I stayed here with family for a wedding. The Inn it's self was very nice although the surrounding area was somewhat dull. There is a nice little bar / restaurant attached called the Tavern at The Armory. Great hotel but I don't see myself visiting Middletown, Ct again anytime soon.

I've stayed at this small hotel twice in a month. The first time I had a suite on the 3rd floor which was okay. It hadn't been revamped yet so it felt a little dingy. “Good place to stay when touring Wesleyan College”

Nicely appointed motor hotel type place with comfortable beds and pillows. Parking overnight at meters is free or $7 in their lot. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the attached Inn at the Tavern was fine with good coffee. No complaints.

I stay here during travel for work and I choice to stay here over other hotels around the area. Clean rooms, nice place, parking is not the greatest without a little walk. Great places to eat within walking distance.

“Superior Hospitality”

This was a business trip together with a few colleagues and we were on a tight schedule - visiting various states across the US. What a pleasant surprise when arriving at this hotel. The rooms are neat and tidy and the beds comfortable. What stood out was the friendly and helpful staff. Certainly a number 1 in the US.

“The Hidden Gem!!!”

Stayed here during a 2-day Manager's meeting. This is beautiful and elegant hotel. The staff was great and professional. The food was excellent...especially the desserts. Will definitely recommend this place!!! Only negative is the parking...if you don't do valet parking...you'll have to park a block or two from the hotel....
