This was our second stay at the Farnam Guest House and we can't say enough good things about the facilities. The accommodations were lovely and Elizabeth was welcoming and gracious. Breakfast was delicious. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer and hope to be able to return and stay for several days. We highly recommend it. More

If visiting NewHaven this is a fabulous place to stay. We found the B&B extremely clean and very comfortable. We were travelling with two small children and there was more than enough room in our bedroom and the large king size bed was very compfortable. The breakfast was over and above what you would expect at a B&B and the... More

We visited Yale in September and we chose Farnam Guest House to spend the night close-by the campus. The house itself is very spacious and the garden is very well-kept as well. We had rooms B and C and were very happy about the quality of the mattress and pillows. The rooms were rather smallish but made excellent do seeing... More

When we arrived nobody was there to welcome us. It was expected because this is specified in the confirmation email, but it's not very pleasant. Moreover, this has been a problem because our room key got stuck in the lock. We could not leave our room. We waited three hours. My phone calls and emails remained unanswered during 2 hours.... Farnam Guest House is beautifully decorated and we had a very stylish breakfast. Our room A (all the way upstairs) was pretty and quiet and we shared a nice bathroom across the hall. It was very convenient to be able to use a little self-catering kitchen as well. More

My daughter and I recently stayed at the Farnam Guest House while visiting Yale. Check-in was easy. Our room was neat and clean. Wireless worked well. The location is within walking distance of campus, provided you are in good health and used to walking a fair bit, as we are. Downhill was easy; the trek back up trying to walk... More

This was our second time at the Farnam. We stayed in the same room (Farnam) as before - very large and very comfortable. Three other members of our family stayed in a suite and loved it. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Examples would include scrambled eggs, frittata, or french toast plus fruit, juice, bacon, cereal, coffee, and tea. Mrs. Lopez... More

Staying in Farnam Guest house was a true delight and a very positive experience. We arrived very late, but everything were arranged for our arrival. We, me, my wife and our 9 month old son, stayed in the Eleanor Dow Suite which was perfect for us. Lots of space where our son could roll around on the floor (which was... More

This is an adorable Bed & Breakfast in New Haven, about 30 minutes from the Bridgeport ferry (which is how we got there), and about a 2-hour drive from NYC, which is where we live. The house is great: the rooms are well kept and very nice, the bathrooms are immaculately clean, they have a piano and eclectic collection of... More
