Stayed here for a night of fun at Mohegan Sun. The staff welcomed us with open arms. Our room was incredibly clean and quiet even for a Saturday night. The drive to Mohegan was easy. This hotel is absolutely a disgrace to the Holiday Inn name. First off, the front desk staff, and even the management, were rude and seemed to have a bad temper. I can't see a reason why a company would treat their customers that way. Second, the hotel is completely overpriced. The whole building is old and outdated and smells terrible.... more

We booked a nonsmoking room, but the hallway leading to our room reeked terribly of stale cigarette smoke. This is definitely not a new property but we found our room to be clean and comfortable. We often times have problems with the bed but slept well here. more

This was place is awful. Tired and worn at the very best. It has a nasty smell in the rooms. The hallways are dank and dark and do not look clean at all. Our room did not feel clean - I couldn't put my finger on it but it just didn't feel clean. There were some stray hairs left in... more

The Holiday EXPRESS is in Mystic....The HOLIDAY INN is in New London....WE stayed at the New London HELL HOLE...We saw the ad for $69/night rooms which jumped to $129 when we arrived due to only a few rooms left.....ok, we were going by the in-town ferry to BLOCK island..and this hotel was close...so we stayed in a smoker's room...still not... more
