Pleasant location with idyllic views from the restaurant. We dined here for dinner and breakfast. Dinner entrees were adequate (non-spectacular). Roast duck in orange sauce tasted ok, but tasted more like raspberry with a hint of celery rather than orange. The sauce was lukewarm. This is pure New England. No opulence or grandeur. However, It's clean and a quiet resting place in the CT. mountains where the food in the restaurant, given the remoteness, is excellent. It is worth a long weekend to get some relaxation. The staff was very friendly and makes you feel at home. Overall a good value.

Been to the Hopkins Inn several times this year including Thanksgiving Day for dinner.
