We booked one week in advance on the Super 8 website and got a room for $60. Make sure you ask the rooms that faces south since the north side is opposite to the railway tracks. Attended a wedding at The Water's Edge and opted not to pay their $300 p.night rate, stayed at the Super 8 for the weekend. Room rate was reasonable ($89+txs). Well our reunion (2oth) at The Water's Edge brought us to Westbrook a quaint Conn. town on the shore. What is worse? The sound of a car driving over the rumble strips on adjacent I-95, The train whistle in the early morning hours from the adjacent rail tracks or the sound of a truck starting up and idling?
