A friend of mine was having a wedding in CT and my boyfriend and I needed a place to stay for the night. A friend of mine found this place and told us they were going to stay there so we decided to stay at this inn as well. The location was super close to the exit off the I-95... more

My fiance and i were looking for a small and quiet place to spend a much needed weekend away and found the Heritage Motor Inn on line. Their website describes their Inn as a "family run (business) for over 40 years and boasts a quiet, quaint, non-commercial atmosphere." As it sounded like just the place for us, we made reservations,... more

Read reviews, checked website and called. Some strange reviews seemed contradictory so I called and asked questions. A pleasant, knowledgeable american woman answered the phone on the 2 occasions we called. She told me about how the place was a smaller non commercial establishment (family run), on Rt. 1, No smoking in rooms, no pets, no long term residents, etc.... more

The owners and staff are fabulous: really friendly and helpful. The room and bath were very clean, and quiet. However, we had lots of big, black ants in our bathroom. Also, the swimming pool was dirty inside, as well as the outdoor carpeting surrounding it. It is located on a main highway, a convenient but unattractive location. The prices were... more

The room was spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable. That said there is very little to commend this place. We experienced none of the friendliness mentioned in other reviews. It is very expensive and requires payment as you arrive. Noticing that it offered AAA discount I asked for it before departing. I was told, in a friendly manner "that I should... more

my husband and I stayed here one night; an ok place, clean. But, if you want to check in a little early and also a place to wait around (for friends, just to get out of your room, etc), you are out of luck. This is really very basic motel, without any public waiting room except outdoors. I guess it's... more

Talk about being made to feel welcome! The mother, daughter and son-in-law that run the Heritage take great pride in their establishment and are extremely accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable, there was alway fresh fruit at the continental breakfast. The main house is a historic building and it and the 12 units are within walking distance of a... more

Friendly family owned small establishment with pool in backyard setting. Very accomodating and available with great suggestions for restaurant suggestions, antiquing, and shopping. Always on site. Clean home type atmosphere. This is the second time in three years we spent the weekend with friends. Will go back again. Easy to make reservations. No concern regarding confirmation status - accurate with... more

If you're looking for a comfortable, very clean, and friendly place to stay, than this is it. IT's not fancy by any means, could use some renovations, but the beds were comfortable and clean. The owner ( Carol) is so friendly and helpful she makes you feel as if you've known her for a very long time. They also serve... more
