A weekend getaway from New York, and this was a wonderful location. This was one of the friendliest places I have ever stayed. we were collected from the station and given a quick tour of town highlights. Our rooms were both charming, and the location perfect. Breakfast has to been experienced to be believed. Despite the fact that we were... More

Stayed as part of a promotion in January 2012. We had the Miss James Suite. overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The property is very convenient to the main street area in old saybrook. Our room was well furnished, very comfortable bed with a modern, clean bathroom. Everything in the main house is lovely, lots of nice decorative touches. Innkeeper... More

We had an exceptional time at this Bed and Breakfast, staff was very nice and the fireplaces in every room was a real nice touch. The house is old, yet rich in history, my girlfriend and I loved it! When we woke up on New Years day, breakfast was served, and the guests were sitting at the table. Everybody seemed... More

Having never stayed at a Bed & Breakfast before my husband and I really did not know what to expect. Let me start by saying that this was by far one of the most enjoyable getaways ever. Rich, the owner, who we found out later was in Hotel management prior to buying this inn, runs a top notch place. We... More

My husband and I stayed in The Suite the day after Christmas. The staff was welcoming and informative about the local area. We loved the cozy atmosphere and working fireplace! The inn was immaculate and inviting. It felt like we took a step back in time. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to go back! I never usually write... More

A wonderful place for a quiet, restful getaway. The "Suite" was perfect with the fireplace, jacuzzi tub, and homey 4 poster bed. Thank you Pat for your delicious breakfasts and the great recommendation for a massage at the Essence Spa with Frances. A great place to unwind and relax. More

A lovely bed and breakfast with beautifully-decorated and comfortable rooms and jacuzzi tubs. Our family booked three adjacent rooms to attend a nearby wedding and it was great to have the sitting room available to gather in with tea, coffee and delicious cookies! More
