We stayed at the Deacon Timothy Pratt House two years ago and it was wonderful. Quite a disappointment this time. The place really has been let go and badly in need of general repairs....even the landscaping has deteriorated. The only pleasant thing that has not changed is Pat the Innkeeper. Excellent place to stay. Very friendly, clean and minutes from great restaurant. Breakfast is great but only served from 8:30-10am. A bit early for me. Rooms are clean and each room has a different theme. more

For a simple, quiet getaway, this is a great place to go to. The rates were a bit high especially when the breakfasts both mornings were not too appetizing. The pastries were fairly good but after this experience, I would have rather had breakfast in town. The fireplace and oversize jacuzzi in the English Cottage room was perfect! more
