The hotel was outdated, and certainly not fancy but I was staying one night on business, and it was cheap. Two days after my stay I started noticing small bites all over my hands, legs and feet. The bites quickly started to swell, and itch, they were bed bug bites. I called the hotel to make them aware of the... more

We normally stay far away from any Motel 6 due to past experiences. However, this is actually a good one that we've stayed at many times over the years. The location is good with many restaurants/stores in walking distance and is also convenient to Lake Compounce Amusement Park. As Motel 6 usually is, it's very no frills, but it's a... more

My daughter and I stayed 10 days and were very pleased. Rooms are basic but clean and quiet, housekeeping staff was friendly and accomodating to our requests. Grounds are neat with plenty of parking. Having Starbucks and Denny's out front was definitely a plus, can walk to both! Can't be beat at $50 per nite! Would highly recommend to anyone! more

Like all the other reviews, the place is a bargin and it was clean and if just staying over for a night or 2 it is great. The staff was nice, the rooms were clean and the Denny's next door has good food. We have stayed here at least 3 times and have no complaints. 58 bucks for 2 beds,... more

Completely bare bones - no alarm clock - no shampoo - 2 small bars of soap. Clean room, comfy bed, safe area. Fine for sleeping. End of story! more

The other reviewer said it perfectly. If you need a place to sleep with easy access to to I 84 - this is a good choice. It's not a "fun" hotel for a family with kids who need to be entertained... but it was very clean and you can't beat the cost. My biggest trouble was finding the place because... more

I needed a place to stay for the night because I was moving. I chose the Motel 6 because it was the cleanest inexpensive hotel on Queen Street. The room was okay for sleeping in, but not much else. First the front desk clerk (who was very friendly. He told me he had seen me a few times working at... more

I had never stayed at a Motel 6 before, but after reading some of the recent reviews of the Motel 6 in Southington CT, thought I'd give it a try. The motel is right off I-84 and has easy access off/ on to the main InterState highway. Wow, what a bargain -- for only $43.99 + tax, I got a... more

After 1 awful night at the Howard Johnson's Express across the street, the newly rennovated Motel 6 was a wonderful change. I think we paid $49 per night and were very pleased. The room was very clean, as it was newly outfitted. The room is small, but if you need a place to sleep, consider this motel. We weren't on... more

The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. This was very basic accomodations and suitable for 1 night. We stayed here because of the price and proximity to Lake Compounce. We would glady stay here again. more
