First, I want to say that I rarely stay at Sheratons as I love Marriott properties. We were stuch here for a family event the first weekend of May 2009. First the good...the room was fairly comfortable, and the front desk people very nice, if not entirely knowledgable about the hotel's billing practices for wi-fi. That's it. Now the bad...our... more

I was very disappointed by a recent stay at the Sheraton Stamford. The hotel has definitely seen better days. The furniture was chipped, the carpet in the room and the hallway was worn, the TV looked like it was from the seventies, and the bed was absolutely horrible. It seemed to have two levels. I sunk into the right hand... more

First thing I should say is that I hate chain hotels. Souless. I love tripadvisor becuase it helps me find smaller, less advertised, boutique-y places to stay, and I spend a LOT of time researching before I choose a hotel or motel. When my husband and I went back east in February, we needed a place to stay for 2... more

We went to Stamford to visit family for the holidays. We needed a base of operations for our various visits and activities and the Sheraton in Stamford fit our needs perfectly. The hotel is in a great location. The hotel staff were very accomodating and our two adjoining rooms were lovely and very clean. The price was just right too.... more

I've stayed here in 2005 so I knew what to expect - reliable hotel more suited to the business traveler. Got a good deal through Priceline for under $90 with fees/taxes. PROS: +It's convenient if you have a car though they do provide shuttle services to the train station. +It's also convenient to the shops in HighRidge or Long Ridge... more

My wife and I travel to Stamford CT every week for my work and had to choose from several options on a place to settle in. We have found the Stamford Sheraton to be a fantastic choice for frequent return guests, as the management and staff go above and beyond to ensure a familiar, attentive, and friendly experience with each... more

Should you be traveling with your dog and you need a hotel in Stamford, Connecticut both I and my dog, Oakley a Labrador Retriever would only name one place: The Stamford Sheraton. Here is a hotel that welcomes dogs up to 80 pounds a rare find in hotels these days. The king size beds are "doggone" comfortable with enough room... more

This hotel is a great loation in Stamford. It's minutes from downtown Stamford, offers good access to major highways, and other places of interest in Fairfield County. The hotel staff is friendly. Great healthclub. I stay there often for business travel, and recomend it to anyone traveling to the area. more

I stayed here for one night on a weekend. It was adequate. I had a room facing the front on the fourth floor. The room was slightly larger than average with a king bed and a couch. I agree that this property was built a while ago but there have been attempts to keep it up to date. The bed... more
