My husband and I were visiting family in Watertown and stayed here for 4 nights. The owners offer a discount for people visiting family so it was actually less expensive than most hotels.

The host was on his own since his wife was out of town, and we were the only guests for three of the nights. It was very homey, relaxing, low key. I'm not sure if it's because Bill was on his own or if that's the general atmosphere, but it was sweet.

On the last night, we had our two young adult daughters and there was one other guest - so five for breakfast that next morning.

The bed was comfortable, and while it's on a main road (Route 6), it feels rural and has a great porch to take in the view of the back yard.

I'd stay there again - and the hosts seem to have regulars come there often as repeat customers - based on the ease between the lady there on the last morning. (she'd stayed there many times and viewed the host as a friend) more
