stayed here for 2 nights, right next to interstate- VERY loud... Our room smelled discusting, i would not stay here again. The AC was also very loud, kept me up all night....The only positive thing I can say is that the rooms are big. more

We stayed at the HoJo for four nights, and it was decent. The room itself was well appointed, with a nice (and very big) desk, comfortable bed, fridge, etc. From what I could tell the room was clean, too. No complaints about the room. Our stay started OK, but then they closed the pool for 2 days (kids were loving the pool). The spa was not open. The biggest thing was that my eye glasses were stolen by, I believe, the cleaning staff. After reporting this to management they did not seem to care much at all. Not bad. Clean room. Sink, fridge and microwave. Nice size bathroom. Breakfast was crappy. Bad coffee, bad juice. Served it's purpose. Very nice staff. more

We came to this hotel after a horrible stay at the Days Inn down the road. This hotel cost $50 per night (with AAA/CAA discount) which was the same price as the Days Inn in the area. We traveled from Seattle to Tampa. The night before we stayed at the Seattle Airport Hilton,(just remodeled) I found the Howard Johnson hotel much better. Not all fancy like the hilton (overpriced), but the bed was the best! I slept so well. We had a smoking room, but it didn't smell all that bad. I would for sure stay again.... more

We came from Australia & met other family members in Florida. Five of us stayed in two rooms & we all thought the accommodation deserved a higher rating! The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. Lots of restaurant options close by(not walking distance). Stayed 5 nights Jan 9th- 13th 2007. Right next to 19 so there is some traffic noise. Real close to Gulf to Bay which takes you straight to Clearwater Beach. more
