Even though this is an older place on the outside - the rooms on the inside have been updated nicely. Housekeeping service was late a couple of days and didn't vacuum everyday (the sand from the beach showed up easily.) Front desk service was very helpful when present - they were only there limited hours. Much to do within walking... more

No nonsense place. Several rooms were recently remodled, others were under way. Caution: note say continental breakfast - it doesnt begin until 9am and is all processed food. The only whole food on the breakfast was milk. GREAT LOCATION, pleanty of parking. Rebecca is a DOLL. more

The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was excellent, everything we needed. It was nice to know there were laundry facilities on site even though we didn't need to use them this time. This place has great rooms, staff, and a great location. Very clean place, while we were there the elevator was down and the nice maintenance man helped us with are luggage up to the room. We will be back again!!!! more

Cruised into Clearwater with no reservations... came upon Pelican Pointe right across from the beach. Great staff, great room. Hotel located at jetty end of beach which gave us a nice opportunity to do some fishing and snorkeling. Dolphins even came close as well as a Manatee!
