Nothing special about this hote at all. The location is absolutey terrible...I can't belive someone would build a hotel behind a gas station/shopping area with nothing else around it. We couldn't walk anywhere except Shell. The staff was attentive, but we always had to ask for everything first. Nothing was offered up to us...no anticipation of our needs or interest.... more

We had read horrible reviews about other hotels in the area. This was the ONLY one that had consistently good reviews. We chose this hotel because of the reviews and the distance to my daughter's apartment (coral gables), her school (UMiami) and points of interest. LOVED IT! My room was clean, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I loved the location--it seemed to be close to everything and walking distance to the shops in Coconut Grove. I was able to spend a few hours relaxing at the pool one afternoon and I found it well maintained and nicely landscaped.... more
