I'm not too sure exactly when this hotel was built, but it must be new OR have had a recent renovation. To me, the most important thing about a hotel is its condition. That everything be clean, free of wear, dings, scuffs, dirt, smells, and mess. That it also be in a nice location, with good amenities. This Hyatt delivers... more

I scored an amazing deal on Priceline for this hotel. Only $60 a night. I was stunned at the beauty of our room. The linens, furniture, bathroom were so elegant. Our room was also huge with a very comfortable king bed. My only negative comment would be the bottom sheet on the bed was too short, leaving our feet on... more

The front desk put us in a room right next to the pool (with a porch) upon request, even tho it was a Hotwire booking ($92 incl. tax). Awesome room for the money. Parking was a breeze and free outside the hotel on Sunday. Meters otherwise. The only blip we had was a wakeup call at 5:20am. I told the... more

I have been coming to this hotel for the last 10+ years and I've never had any major issues. It is the best option in Coral Gables unless you'd like to stay at the Biltmore which is much more scenic but not as close to the Miracle Mile. The room service is prompt and accurate, the rooms are clean and... more

This is a large first class Hotel in a rather dead area of Coral Gables. The neighborhood is fine, there just isn't much going on there. The whole place is done up in a Moorish theme and the rooms are very well appointed, fresh, clean and attractive. Good place for a wedding or business meeting. Nice pool area with steam... more

I won this hotel on priceline for $80 after unsuccessfully bidding on MIA airport hotels, I expanded my search to include 4 star Coral Gables. I was skeptical at first due to the location being far from the cruise port, but after arriving there was no need to worry. The cab ride from the airport was only $16 and then... more

Just a caveat - we were coming from the Turnberry Isle Resort, which is a fantastic hotel, so maybe our views were skewed, but my wife and I arrived at the Hyatt and were overwhelmed by an awful smell. Can't pinpoint it, but it was really bad. Check in was OK, got to our room on the 8th floor and... more

Upon entering, we were awed by how historically beautiful it was. The pictures online do not do it justice. The gathering areas are georgeous as well as tasteful. The rooms spacious and quiet with just enough furniture to put your things away comfortably and who can forget the Portico bathroom gifts they offer. The smell is intoxicating and refreshing so... more

We really enjoyed our time at the Hyatt in Coral Gables. Our room was nicely decorated and had a lovely Spanish feel. We were lucky to have a room with a balcony overlooking the pool. We have kids so it was a treat to sit out at night while the kids slept. The pool area is great and the hotel... more

Our room (a Jr Suite) on the 8th floor (over looking the outdoor pool (which is on the 5th floor)) was very nice with lots of Moorish style thrown in, dark colors (this isn't floral Miami by any stretch), only stylish item I'd deduct points for is the black bedstand that the box spring sits on, looks cheap, I don't... more
