Red Star was promoted in the lobby. They ripped us of for $60 for a $36 dollar fare for four by any cab. The Courtyard was complicit in this ripoff. The trip took 2 hours for a 15 minute drive. Avoid any hotel that implies a recommendation for Red Star limousine.

The hotel is convenient for stays near FLL airport. Not much around hotel other than Outdoor World. Hotel and lobby are very nice. Rooms are clean. We chose it because we flew in (free airport shuttle) and cruised out (free port shuttle). PROS: Shuttles, super comfy beds, friendly & helpful staff, modern lobby with plenty of seating, TVS, computers, etc. CONS: Wish bfast was included, no food options to walk to either Good choice for us.

Close to the airport and right next to train station. Modern lobby with the bistro and comfortable beds. A lot of 1 night stays given the proximity to cruise terminal and airport. I did not notice excessive noise from trains or planes, so it a good choice if you need a place near the airport.
