I have never been to a motel with such poor customer service. The manager was rude the entire stay. We were with an extended family for Thanksgiving and they charged us $10 per child per night! Then they could not even give us an accurate itemized bill for the costs they were charging. We had a total of 4 families... more
Do not stay at this motel. Everyone there is rude. They do not like giving clean linens. They call themselves pet-friendly but are far from that. They're not even people-friendly. We stayed there a few times and hated it -- thinking there were not many choices for pets, but found out there are lots of other motels to choose from.... more
The staff are very friendly. The rooms are always clean. We go every year and meet the same people who keep returning. The staff put on a great Thanksgiving dinner. more
This is a TERRIBLE motel. The place is DIRTY and the Owners are the rudest people I've ever met. The rooms was nothing like the pictures show. The room is cramped with two chairs, two beds with dirty linens that dont fit. no blankets just a scratchy bed spread that has holes and snags. the sheets had many dog or... more
Ive stayed at this motel about four times now over the past ten years of coming to DB once a year since 1982. Sure, things have changed over the years.....there's a little more rust on the faucets....the floor tiles aren't brand-spanking new.....there's a bug here and there......but for the rates and accomodations for being right on the beach, I have... more
We have been going to Daytona Beach for 16 years. They keep tearing down the small motels/hotels. We found the sand Castle a few years ago and love it. Clean, friendly and reasonably priced! Right on the beach! more
Stayed at the Sand Castle two weeks in May. We have stayed there many times, and it is always the best. Great pool, very friendly owners, great bar-b-que area. We can't wait to go back more
We stayed at the Sandcastle for 2 nights in november 2004. Enjoyed our stay from beginning to end! We had room 212, right on the oceanfront, beautiful views, even to Sunglow Pier, where our favourite restaurants for years is: Crabby Joe's! more
