Agree with previous reviewer. Rooms are very nice but internet signal is dismal. If you're looking for "high speed" internet access, look elsewhere. Otherwise, I was quite pleased with the hotel. It's right off I-95 so very convenient for travelers. The price can't be beat either. more

I had reserved and booked a room with a condition that internet be provided as it is advertaised in the Website. I arrived and enquired if inernet was working as I was on travel status and had a mountain of documentation to be done. Got in the room which was very impressive and clean. Booted up the computer just o... more

For a spring break trip, the La Quinta in Daytona Florida is a nice location for fun and privacy, but if you are a college student expect to get hassled by the management. Additional charges, false promises, and daily threats of being kicked out with no refund by Kieret(?), the manager, are a normal occurrence. His staff, who supposedly only... more

We stayed here overnight a couple of weeks before the "race week" frenzy began, and we were quite satisfied overall. I don't know if the entire hotel has been renovated, but the "king deluxe" that we had was very nice, and as roomy as most one-room "suites" offered by other hotels. Our room was on the quiet side (away from... more

We stubled upon this hotel quite by accident while driving from NY to Florida.. We had not planned to stop in Daytona, but due to terrible traffic in Georgia (I95 is one big contraction zone in the state of GA....then there was a terrible accident outside of Savannah) our schedule went entirely out the window. We found ourselves entirely exhausted... more

We had several pleasant surprises during our 4-1/2 day stay at this hotel. Before I talk about that, however, let me just briefly mention that the reviewers who were angry that there was no "ocean view" might want to make a note - it's the LaQuinta at the beach that has the ocean view, NOT the one in Daytona proper... more

We checked in a couple of hours ago and weren't told that the ice cream truck parked outside of our room would be running all night long. We can hear it rumbling about 10 feet from our window. It's now close to 11 pm and were told we can move to another room but instead elected to stay in this... more

We stayed here several days while our first year college student moved into his dorm/attended orientation at a local University; The hotel is very pet friendly; the staff were responsive to our needs; the room was spacious with two doulble beds, one lounge chair and a desk/chair; the wireless internet worked but not seemlessly; it was quiet despite being close... more

We had to book 7 rooms for a competition that was in town. I got a great rate online from the hotel website. I have no idea how, but we got a rate of 39.00/night. I did not have high expectations because of the "you get what you pay for" thing. I was so happy with our stay. I would... more

We stayed in Daytona for the race and it was a 15 min walk to the race way. Lots of places to eat w/in walking distance. The Inn had free hot dogs, hamburgers, drinks, chips, beer the day of the race. Staff extremely nice. Place was clean, its an older place. We would stay again. Price wasn't bad and there... more
