The staff makes this hotel. We dealt with three different front desk personnel, including the manager. All were superior. Our compliments extend to the entire staff ... the breakfast manager and our housekeepers. It's clean and close enough to the beach. Within walking distance to a Barnes and Noble with a Starbucks. They were concerned about us not being disturbed... more

Spent 2 nights here. Very Clean. Restaurants and shopping closeby- walking distance. Short walk to beach. Nice new neigborhood. Short Walk to Destin Commons Shopping. We had a great family vacation, Our stay this July was great. A family of four we were greeted at arrival with a very friendly staff. This hotel seemed fairly new and it was VERY clean! The beds and pillows were really comfortable. The room was light, bright and pleasant to be in. It is right down the street from the beach and within walking distance to Destin Commons (open air shopping with Hard Rock Cafe, big movie theater, and free wi-fi) and several other shopping... more

We were only four blocks from the beach, so it was a handy walk. Even though the hotel was busy, it was quiet when it came to sleeping, and the hot breakfast provided saved time and money. Upon arrival the front desk staff looked dirty! We went to the room ready to shower after being at the beach and there was no shower curtain. The floor on the tub was filthy the floor was dirty and had hair on the toilet. The floor in the room was so gross our socks were BLACK!!!! When the front desk... more

I've been here a month so far with another month to go (on business). 4 blocks from a nice stretch of beach and near everything. Breakfast is good and simple but doesn't start till 6:30 (probably not an issue for most people). The staff is pleasant and helpful. I'll be staying here next time also. more
