Our experience with ResortQuest and Emerald Shores was a complete disappointment from day 1. We arrived at our beach house - Emerald Mist - to find it FILTHY! Carpet had not been vacuumed but the worst part was that it needed to be shampooed. The sheets on one bed had not been changed from the previous guests, none of the bathrooms had been cleaned from previous guest, one toilet had urine encrusted on underside of toilet seat, coffee pot had not been cleaned, blender broken, dryer never worked properly, lightbulbs out. Basically it was just absolutely disgusting. We stayed in a "economy" hotel on our way to Florida and it was cleaner than this $3,000/wk place. By the time we arrived, checked in, noticed the items, the office was closed so we had to wait until the next day before we could call someone to come and take care of our concerns.
