Okay, I hate to post a negative review. But I just have to set the record strait here, seeing how this hotel comes in at the top of the list. ????? First thing I noticed is that the 'attractiveness' factor of our room was NON existant. NO thought to interior design, at all. I am talking an awful camel/orangey carpet...... more

Pros: well-appointed rooms--good decor. if you want to take advantage of the sandestin resort area, the location is good. clean. Cons: if you are trying to be in Destin proper (beaches, etc.) this is not the best choice--it was about 10 miles beyond the city itself in an upscale resort area. we got a good price for the room quality... more

Courtyard Hotels are generally very nice and this was no exception. My only comment (not a complaint) is that the room seemed a bit on the small side. It had a King Bed and a small love seat--and not room for much more. more

Our family stayed in the Sandestin Courtyard while my husband attended a winter conference at the Hilton. We chose to stay at the Courtyard because we didn't see the need to spend $40 more per night to be beachside when the weather was too cold to enjoy the beach. The staff at the Courtyard Sandestin go out of their way to help. Free internet, nice clean rooms! This hotel is absolutely wonderful. The hotel is new and clean with lots of options. They have a bar and restaurant downstairs, in room movie rentals, and they gym actually had more than a couple pieces of equipment. They have a free bus that will take you to any of the Sandestin attractions and there are a lot of restaurants... more
