We stayed at this motel purely because we had spent too many hours driving and were exhausted. It looked a big place and we thought that it would be fine. The car park was large and secure underneath the property but on entering the motel reception it went downhill. The lady at the desk was sitting watching tv with a cigarette in her hand not really interested. We paid for a king size room that apparently had a view but it was very late and we could see very much of the view. The room was a big size but so damp with a very strange smell. We put on the air conditioning and to our horror found that was where the smell was coming from. But as the temperature was so warm, we had to have the air on, so the smell was terrible. The bed linen was so cold and damp that we slept on clothes from our luggage over the pillows and slept with clothes on which was sweltering.
