The experience of the House, its staff, the village was one of returning home to a bit sleepy and relaxed home village. It is impossible to get stresset here. The surroundings and nature is fabulous and top 5 class of the world. Do the kajak if you go there! Let no more air boats disturb our nature. More

This hotel is wery well kept. Rooms are tidy and spacious. There is a covered but not completely swimmingpool just outside the rooms. The atmosphere is very relaxing. Breakfast was complete and good. There was fruit, sausages, bread and beverages. Hot tea and coffee were free during all day long. I also saw a laudry and other amenities. Maybe it... More

We have been in Ivey House for just one night. The rooms are very clean and big, ours had two queen size beds. In the structure there is also a roofless pool. Breakfast is ok, with a good variety of food. The structure also offers free parking and free WiFi connection. Definitively it was a good hotel, with just two... More

Dear AleTrippin: Thank you for taking time to tell others of our beautiful and charming Inn, and also for letting folks know that we are indeed located in a small town whose biggest asset is the wealth of outdoor activities available here in the Western Everglades, whether it's kayaking, hiking, fishing, bird watching or any of the other cool things... Echoing the comments of others (nice to see so much consistency!), the Ivey House is an excellent base from which to visit the surrounding Everglades, Big Cypress, and extreme southwest Florida coast. We compared this property with all the others in the area that we could find (by driving around and in our AAA book) and, though costlier than the... More

This is the best maintained property in Everglades City, which is overall kind of run down. My son and husband enjoyed the kayaking experience. I walked around the city and visited the parks center where they offer boat tours of the Everglades. If we came back to the Everglades we would probably stay at the Ivey House. More

Our first trip to the Everglades brought us to the Ivey house. They offer a great package for rooms and excursions into the glades. The room was very clean and roomy. Breakfast was hot with lots of choices for a 'continental'. They made us box lunches both days which were really good. The only thing I can say not good... More

Dear BillMu3467: Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We're very happy to hear you enjoyed one of our many packages, although I'm sorry our pool wasn't quite as warm as you had hoped. We keep the thermostat set at 78 degrees, hoping it will meet the needs of most of our guests while also keeping an eye on... More

Ivey House is a perfect base from which to visit the Everglades. The staff was most helpful in suggesting hikes, boat trips and sites to visits. Good breakfast, fine rooms, nice pool. More

The Ivey House is the place to stay for exploring Big Cypress Swamp and the northern Everglades. The inn is quiet and perfectly clean and comfortable. Staff are very informative and helpful re where to see what, where there are trails, etc. Very good buffet breakfast. The Ivey house coordinates with North American Canoe/Kayak Tours to make canoe/kayak exploration easy.... More

We stayed two nights in the 'cottage' by the side of the main guest house. It wasn't huge nor was it luxurious bu it was ideally placed for the small supermarket at the garage, restaurants and all attractions. The cottage itself is quirky and a refreshing change from corporate sameness. It's perfectly clean and equipped for what you need on... More
