Very nice and calm place. Friendly atmosphere, Free WiFi provided, has a nice pool which is, like the entire House, save from mosquitos. Price was 99 USD (walk-in, off-season), breakfast was o.k., coffee could be better, but there was a selection of teas. Relatively environmentally friendly, but there is room for improvement (e.g. provide glasses in the room instead of... more

The Ivey House is a good choice to stay for a couple of days. The rooms are clean, the people who run it are nice and friendly and will give you all the information you need to make your stay a success. I liked the screened pool. No bugs there! Breakfast was okay, nothing special. When staying in the low... more

My wife and I had a lovely stay at the Ivey house Florida city. We stopped there as part of a fly drive out of season. The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was included (many of the places we stayed at, it wasn't), the pool was plesant, the whole place clean, tidy and comfortable and the price reasonable.... more

We have stayed in every hotel/motel in Everglades City and the Ivey House is absolutely the best. Very clean, comfortable beds, environmentally conscious, and helpful staff. more

We only stayed here 1 night and wished it had been 2 then we could have taken a little more advantage of the facilities and area. The rooms were large and clean with comfortable beds. The pool was perfect to relax in after a day of travelling. The staff were helpful and recomended the Camelia Street Grill for dinner. Took... more

We spend 2 nice nights in this hotel. When we went, the B and B part was closed, only remained open the Inn. The room was nice and included a fridge. Breakfast was also nice, including toasts fruits, yogurt as well as eggs, and hot/cold beverages. The only thing we did not appreciate was the fountain inside the pool: this... more

We booked here over the Memorial Day weekend after reading great reviews at TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed! Our room was big and clean, with refrigerator, cable tv, and free WiFi. Despite all rooms facing the pool, we were not disturbed at all by noise. I've scanned the room # floorplan, so check out my photos. We traveled with our... more

We booked two nights at the Ivey House for our 30th anniversary. We had never been to Everglades city before. The Ivey House was fantastic. The room we had had 2 queen beds a small refrigerator and was extremely clean. As we had never been there before we weren't sure where to start but the employees of the Ivey House... more

We spent two nights at the Ivey House in March. We were very satisfied with the stay and highly recommend it to other people visiting Everglades City, a small, peaceful town. The women at check-in could not have been more helpful. They gave us a map and described all the area restaurants and interesting things to do. There was lots... more

After finding the Ivey House on Tripadvisor, booked and emailed back and forth with them on booking tours. Stayed two nights Mar 28-30, the Ivey House is a great base, large for a B&B (about 30 rooms), but very friendly staff and great care and attention to detail. Everglades City was full of warm and friendly folk, as "un-city" at... more
