hotel smells like stale cigarrette smoke - room was horrible and nasty. Found used soap in shower. carpet and bed mattress filthy. Worst place I ever stayed. Could not wait untill morning to get out. more

Having stayed at 2 other Red Roofs (Asheville, North Carolina and Charleston, South Carolina) expected another great find!!! Boy were we disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!! The room reeked of mold and they had no other rooms available (reduced our bill by 50% but even then not worth it!). We booked online for pre cruise stay. Outside appearance very deceiving. Smelled bad. First room was dirty, beds not made, towels on floor. Went back to lobby & requested new room.
