Just got back from a stay at the Pelican. The view & location were great. The room was huge & very clean with a great view of the beach. You can't get much closer to the ocean. The livingroom area is sectioned off from the sleeping area so it worked well when someone wanted to sleep in or crash early.... more

We stayed at the room 304 which was perfect. Really big, had 3 windows Facing the ocean and a balcony facing pool. Beach......o my God..perfect....private....with towels and seats and umbrellas. i would give this hotel 5 star rating, but i was really disappointed with the parking value. 24 dollars for a day!! plus you have to give tip every time... more

This hotel is a beautiful property. It is oceanfront, just north of the main drag that is Fort Lauderdale. Still busy traffic, but not so chaotic with people it seemed. I dont even know where to begin, first the parking fees are outragously expensive. Check in went smooth. The suite we had was small, for a newer hotel it felt very old and dirty. The service at the pool was even worse, it took 10 minutes for a server to finally approach us, then another 15 minutes to get drinks.... more
