Celebrating a birthday locally without breaking the bank, we loved the Sea Club and its open air restaurant The Deck. Staff was friendly and courteous. Ambiance was "Old Florida" which we love. When everything was said and done, I had a lovely vacation at the sea club resort and it was quite the value. The free towels and chairs is a plus but what sold us was the view....it was unbeatable!! The hotel rooms are ok -- not half as bad as some reviewers have suggested but they could use some work.... more

We enjoyed our stay in Florida however Robert at the front desk treated us horrible he was very unfriendly. One of our rooms was not ready when we checked in and he acted as though that was our fault. We were treated like crap by him anytime we went to the front desk for anything like towels or beach chairs.... more

The rooms are very clean. The Hotel has some age but is holding up well. It is one of the few remaining small chain type hotels. Everything in the area has gone to big box type luxury hotels.
