I stayed at this hotel (Hampton Cypress) Dec 2 for 1 night prior to a cruise. Check in personal were very nice and helpful. The rooms have been refurbished. Overall, we had a lovely stay. The staff was really wonderful and friendly. The rooms were nothing fancy, but they were for the most part comfy and clean. My husband and I stayed two nights (in town for the King Tut exhibit). Service was very good--front desk staff helpful, breakfast well done. Room was tired--needs paint, new furniture, new pillows, some loving care.
