Got my room for $60 on Price-Line ($45 plus $15 in fees) and was very satisfied (I love recessions!). I asked for a quiet room and was given a very nice one on the 14th floor. I can't hear traffic, walls aren't too thin but I can hear talking in the next rooms but that seems to be hotel life. LOCATION: The Westin Fort Lauderdale is located just off the I95. The location is convenient rather than breathtaking. It is situated in a business park of sorts but the pool overlooks a large lagoon. Traffic noise was inevitable, and no worse than expected. CHECK IN / ACCOMODATION. Check in was swift and smooth.
