They charge a lot of money for limited quality and services, not gourmet food, and a motel stay. The ocean view is beautiful, but I can only give God the credit for that. The management at The Regency House is petty and money-hungry. If you're not too weak to eat cheap, bland, and healthy on your own, you'd do better... more

I just returned from my 10th stay in 3 years. If you are looking for a casual, clean place on the beach where you can feel safe, this is for you. Although I go by myself, you will always meet other folks (mostly women) also there to treat them selves. Some go to lose weight (which you will do). Some... more

A friend and I just had an awful experience at this place. You have to pay a high non-refundable deposit before arriving, and when we arrived, it looked worse than a Motel 6! We walked in, and the place looked like a nursing home, with many of the visitors over 70, and stunk of garlic, although we didn't see one... more

This was my first visit to the Regency. I have sent friends and family there, but I needed a 5 day rejuvenation and to get back on track with a healthy lifestyle. Since last September I have lost 34 lbs. and have stayed on track with my diet and exercise. I room I was in was nothing to write home... more

I am saddened to see all the negative reviews here. I am glad I did not read them before I went, or I may not have taken a chance on The Regency House. It is true that the Regency is not a "fluff and buff" spa where everything is shiny and new. But from the moment I walked in, I... more

My husband and I stayed at the Regency House for a week in January and both enjoyed our visit very much. I did not read the reviews until today. Most of the negatives and positives in the reviews are generally true, but many seem to be several years old. The sale and renovation did not go through and the physical... more

I first went to The Regency some 15 years ago and although it was shabby-chic it was in fairly good repair, although obviously old. The vegetarian meals were delicious. However, my recent trip over Easter in March was a shock. The Dining area needs repair and painting! It's a shock the first time you see it! It is very puzzling... more

The place is rundown and I received a bad facial that left my face red and peeling for 2 weeks after that I had to see a Dermatologist to fix it. And I tried contacting the spa to get my money back and i still have not received a response back. I live nearby and had been hearing about this... more

Public housing is kept up better. Electric wires exposed to the elements. An elevator proudly displaying a certifcate outdated by over a year. Plaster falling from the ceiling and electric plugs that don't work, along with little space in the bathroom and a non working exhaust fan. You will be lucky to get a soap dish.Forget a good nights sleep... more
