I first went to The Regency some 15 years ago and although it was shabby-chic it was in fairly good repair, although obviously old. The vegetarian meals were delicious. Public housing is kept up better. Electric wires exposed to the elements. An elevator proudly displaying a certifcate outdated by over a year. Plaster falling from the ceiling and electric plugs that don't work, along with little space in the bathroom and a non working exhaust fan.
