Scuba divers are by and large a rustic bunch. That being said, Cadillac will suffice. Reasonable rates, but the Ritz It is not. Could use some improvements. Get rid of the full size refrigerators. Put in proper heat and AC ( our heat cycled on and off constantly). No power outlet in our bathroom ( room 17). It was suitable... More

The room's are basic, but large. There is a full refrigerator and cable tv. The heat in the room is provided by the ac unit that is a large window unit located in the wall. My bed was comfortable and the owners are nice. They are very diver friendly. If you are just looking for a place to lay your... More

We stayed in this motel since all the other motels were full and now we have BEDBUGS. We are positive we got them there. It has been a nigthmare and 40 hours of laundry and spraying and going to the doctor for Lindane 1% lotion to kill the eggs on our bodies. We went back to room to inspect and... More

We (my wife & I) were traveling through and stayed for 3 nights. Many of these motels were built in the 1950's and served this country well for many years. I like the ability of being able to park just outside my room - it makes unloading and loading much easier, especially if one of you are handicapped. The room... More

This is an interesting place, I first stayed here because anothe place messed up our group's reservations ( we stayed again a 2nd time, that time was by choice with a larger group). I had my doubts about staying here @ first, the doubts were more when I walked in the room....what hotel has a full size fridge in the... More

I went to room HOT....no A.C. on so turned it on..window unit....still little hot while typing...that is why I'm not sleeping..so come early to... More

We booked this hotel about a month before we planned to visit. The reason we booked is because we were traveling to Gainesville to watch our football team play the University of Florida. We are students, and needed a place to stay that would be reasonably priced and not too far away. Needless to say, we were treated with more... More

This place is great for the price, very friendly people run the place and I am never worried about leaving things in my room as I am at other hotels. I am a diver and the place is diver friendly , they let you hang your gear out to dry and the rooms are very big for your gear. I... More

Let me tell you....... I am a first time visitor here, accompanying a few friends that come her annually. I will say, that there are "fancier" hotels out ther, but that does not mean they are better. The Cadillac is a most worthwhile accomidation that you can find for what it is worth. The rooms are much nicer that you... More

My husband and I were headed to Punta Gorda for the weekend on the spur of the moment. We had printed up a list of motels in the area and made calls on the drive up to find a room. We called Cadillac Motel and requested a room as there were no other available. We were not informed of any... More
