Amelia Island Plantation is ideal for the great weekend getaway. Quiet seclusion with luxurious accomondations. We were in a lovely two bedroom on the beach. Excellent service and super fine restaurants were available on site. Price was reasonable for such an outstanding golf resort on the ocean. more
Yes the rooms all face the ocean and are fairly generously sized and appointed. ( I personally love drawers to hold my stuff.) All of the rooms at the Inn at Amelia Inn Plantation offer incredible ocean front views. We purchased the Bed and Breakfast package which included a wonderful buffet breakfast each morning. I’ll make a very long story short. When I got to my room everything seemed fine. Once I got into bed I noticed a hair on the sheet, then another and another. Husband & I had a great time here. Nice bike paths, several pools/restaurants and beautiful beach. We would recommend this hotel if you're looking for a relaxing and quiet place with golf course & spa. We stayed in an upgraded condo and were very happy with our room. more
