The Hotel is great. Pool is nice. The beach is on bay side and very small with a grass bottom 2 feet from shore. Our next stay in the keys will be in another hotel with a better beach. Rooms are great. Would be a perfect, 5 star, with a beach. more

Ok. So I must say that when we were deciding which resort to go to in key largo (key largo grande or marriott) I chose marriott because all other marriotts I have stayed in have been quite comfortable, reliable and nice. This hotel is that exception. It looks like a spring break dump. The rooms were NOT nice. I have... more
The location and the buildings of the hotel are great. The hotel has access to several small but nice sand beaches. The outdoor pool is also ok, but not too impressive. Opposite to earlier experiences, this hotel seems to lack a certain regular style & class as well as service that Marriott hotels tend to have. more
We checked in on a Thursday, left on a Sunday, and spent just enough time here. While overall we enjoyed Key Largo, I can merely say the hotel was adequate. The room was standard Marriott clean, with free wi-fi and parking. The "beach" is small and sand is rough (as long as you have realistic expectations it's fine). The pool... more
I just got married at the Marriott on June 10th. I only live about 2 hours away and for local Floridians who need a change of scenery, this is the place to go. I would not recommend staying to long in Key Largo unless you love the outdoors. Key West is more touristy with more places to eat, shop, and... more
Overall I was a little disappointed in our stay at the Marriott. I want to be completely honest because I rely on tripadvisor all the time. There is only one pool and its pretty small and usually packed with kids. The "beach" is very small and there isn't much swimming. The parking lot is bigger than the property and there... more
our room was very comfortable with a view of the pool and the bay. The weather was not that great with lots of storms so we spent more time in the room than might be normal. The bed was Marriott standard and very comfortable, but why can't they get duvets to fit their beds. They are always too small. They... more
Marriott Key Largo was a great place to relax and forget about the rest of the world for a while. The pool and beach area was beautiful. Beach was rather small, but sufficient. The beach is actually a bay, so don't expect big waves or anything. Plenty of lounge chairs with cushions, but be sure to bring your towels from... more
We had a wonderfully relaxing week at the Key Largo Bay Beach Resort. Having read the Trip advisor reviews after having booked the hotel, we were wondering whether we would find ourselves having to check out because we would be disappointed with this hotel. Our first night was spent in rooms with awful views, but an upgrade to rooms with... more
We booked with the Marriott chain as you tend to know what standard you are getting with their hotels. Having booked the hotel however we read a review about Key Largo and the suggestion that the key is best avoided as its over commercialised. We were somewhat apprehensive about the location and the hotel! We checked in on a Sunday... more
