Popp's is old fashioned and charming, with a beach that comes as close to private as you can get on Key Largo for this price! This isn't a luxury hotel, but it is great for families; all the rooms have kitchens, and the Popps and their assistant manager try hard to help with anything that's needed. We had read a wonderful write up mentioning boating and spa , BUT the motel had detriorated. Boat was in disrepair as was the jacuzzi spa. The beach was not inviting. Staff would not issue refund so we could not change locales. Rooms were tattered and old. more
