The Blue Marlin was a great place to stay. We traveled to Key West with a 14 year old and our 2 year old granddaughter and found the Blue Marlin to be the perfect place to stay. It was quiet and safe and very clean. The bathrooms are huge, even with a 14 year old. It was close enough to everything... more

This is a nice, clean motel in a very good location. Upon arrival we found our room was very clean and larger than I expected. One of the two beds however had a quite noticeable caved in area in the mattress. Fortunately we didn't need to use that bed though. I didn't take any pictures of the place since the... more

The Blue Marlin was the perfect place to stay in Key West! It was in a great location (1 block off Duval). My husband and I parked the car when we arrived and never moved it again, we just walked everywhere. The Blue Marlin is nothing overly fancy, but is clean, charming and well taken care of...and priced perfectly! We... more

I had intended to go to the Dry Tortugas while in Key West, but the weather prevented us from going. So while in Key West, we checked into the Blue Marlin. It is your standard hotel room. There is a nice pool. Of course, even though we couldn't go to the Tortugas we found no shortage of things to do... more

The room was large, clean, good T.V., the AC cold; and it was close to the Duval "crawl." All these reviews I read about the Marlin are true. We are Florida natives and we would stay at the Marlin again. My wife's only comment was that the room needed another mirror...and I felt the conftinental breakfast was extremely weak. They did... more

We choose this hotel for the price and closeness to Duval street. My group was two couples who wanted to come to key west to scuba dive and explore the island. The rooms were well kept and clean. There is a full bathroom and then another vanity with sink outside of the bathroom. overall a great place. more

By the time my wife and I got to Mallory Square that Monday, the sunset had just ended. Hence we decided to stay overnight to catch Tuesday's sunset edition. We were informed by the folks at the Key West Information Center that it was the first day of college Spring Break and every hotel and every room is pretty much... more

What can I say? This motel was cute, freshly painted, extremely clean. The staff was friendly, especially Chuck at the front desk who seemed to be there 27 hrs a day. The breakfast was okay--coffee/tea, juice, toast, small pastries. It was close to Duval St (although quite a hike to Mallory Square--the solution is to stop in the various quirky... more

Friendly Staff, great location near the Southernmost Point , beach, Butterfly Conservatory (a must see). and just off the quiet end of Duval St. Parking included a must in Key West. Basic continental breakfast, coffee , juice , danish, toast. But several restaraunts near by serving a full breakfast at... more

We stayed here just before Xmas 2008 for 3 nights. The hotel has been recently repainted- see pic. Rooms were great, quiet, but a couple of blocks only from the sea, and also from the action of Duval Street. Check in was no problem, and nor was parking- which can be an issue depending where you stay in Key West.... more
