After reading all the great reviews, we decided to stay at the Wicker House.. I feel like I was misled into staying there.. What a disappointment!! The staff was great, but that's where it ended... The room was dark and hadn't been updated in many years..The bathroom was old and nothing had been refurbished. I did not feel comfortable showering,... more

this hotel is on the busy and popular Duval Street . It is close enough to all the bars, restaurants and attraction to be able to walk with ease but far enough out to be peaceful and quiet. The guest house is a small collection of traditional West Key buildings surronding a small but nice pool and large patio area.... more

My wife and I spent our 3rd trip to Key West at the Wicker, our second at the Lighthouse Court (recommend that one) in 2007 and our first trip was on a cruise ship for six hours in 2005. The Wicker was nice and quiet. Do try to get a room toward the back as there is a back gate... more

The Wicker was recently my home away from home while I stayed in Key West. I was thoroughly pleased with everything while I stayed there. The location on Duval street was perfect. We didn't have to move our car once as we were within walking distance to basically everything. The guesthouse was quiet, and felt very "home-like". The staff was... more

The location on Duval is great. The Wicker sits on Duval and 9th (913 Duval Street) making it central to all establishments on Duval. My fiance and I stayed there for a second time over the 4th of July weekend (our first time was last year during the 4th of July weekend). The queen room we reserved (same type of... more

I stayed here with my wife for two nights. I booked a "small queen" and they weren't lying. The room was small but comfortable. The buildings were a bit old but seemed well maintained and clean. Being right next to Duval St. was noisy, but the air conditioner drowned that out completely. The staff was nothing but friendly, and the... more

I was upgrades to a room near the pool, which seemed to be o.k.. No shower pressure and very hot water for 90 degree weather. I woke up with a Palmetto Bug in my hair, and German roaches everywhere. In the drawers of the dresser, on the ceiling, bath tub, on the walls, and in our suit cases. The staff... more

My husband and I decided to book our honeymoon here after being recommended Wicker guesthouse by a friend. It was quiet a peaceful small and quaint and just the place to truly get away. The staff was very friendly and the free breakfast was a treat as well. We definitely had a wondeful experience more

This was not my first trip to Key West, though it was my first stay at Wicker Guest House. It will definitely be my last. Wicker Guest House is one of the dirtiest guest houses/hotels in which I have ever spent a night. Sadly, the place is badly in need of over all maintenance and renovation. We were given a... more
