I slept in this motel to make a stopover before reaching Key West. It's a very simple motel with a very high price! The young girl at check in was as cold as the price is high. Well, this is a place not to make a stopover, but to stay if you want fishing and boating. I would however not... More

This was def average for a hotel for the cost. I would assume it was because of the view, which had it not been pouring down rain would have been wonderful. Now of course this is not the hotels fault. The front desk girl was rather rude, {I don't know maybe the week of rain was enough for them} we... More

The location is good but our room was small, the bathroom door would not close, there was no coffee maker or Wi-Fi. the nearest provision store was 2 miles to the South. The bed creaked at every movement. Thankfully we only stayed one night

We are sorry that you left us such a bad review! We apologize that the nearest store is almost two miles away! To be honest, we have never had a complaint about not having a store close and we do not know how to respond to that! Most people come to the keys because it is not all commercial and... More

Location location location...this is the perfect place to stay no matter what you are doing in The Keys. We were boat shopping and needed to get to a few different Keys. Harbor Lights was clean and quiet. The pool and grounds were inviting and relaxing. It appeared many stayed there so they could fish. I understand the current managers have... More

We recently stayed here for 2 nights and had a very pleasant stay. Yes, the motel is old and the furniture is a little dated. On the other hand, the motel sits literally yards from the ocean, and I suspect maintenance is a constant chore. There is some vehicle noise at night, but that was not really that loud if... More

My husband and I stayed at this charming beachside hotel after a day at the duck keys. We were disappointed that we did not book for more than one night. The rooms were clean, and quiet. We enjoyed the outdoor hammock and beachside sitting areas. It is close to the keys, at a very affordable rate! If we are ever... More

It seems that your positive or negative experience in this motel is dependent on the room you get. In my room I had stains (probably mold) on the ceiling, cracked glass in the picture frame, cracked electrical outlet plates, cracks and shoddy patches in the ceiling, broken blinds, cracked tile around the window frame, rusty handles on the stove, stained... My boyfriend and I were getting away for the weekend and were shocked by the prices of hotels. Harbor Lights was the best price we could find so we decided to stay there. Our room was dated, but clean. The beds, linens, etc. were clean. The bedspread looked new and clean. We had a big truck and 36' boat trailer.... More

We needed to stay on a pet friendly motel, we found Harbor Lights in our way south. We were greater very nicely by Todd & Becky Chandler. The room we took was separate from the main building is a Cabana style ocean front view. Very clean indeed. Nice size bathroom, good size front window with a cute balcony. It had... More
