Drop Anchor was a perfect place to unwind and get away from it all. Drop Anchor is a nice quiet spot. Great ocean views. Plenty of hammocks and chairs to enjoy the view. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean. Kitchens very useable and stocked with basics. Grills available for outside cooking if needed. Pull out couch does need some updating in room 2. Good stay and would go back. more

This resort hotel was a pleasure. We got to check in early and the guy up the front was laid back and pleasant with a friendly attitude... Our second visit and will stay there again when in the keys! Our room looked right out onto the beach/ocean with many hammocks, chairs to relax on the sand. My boyfriend and I just stayed in Room 9 for a week. We absolutely loved it! When we were there, there were a few younger couples like us, and generally everyone else was older--and NO KIDS were staying there (we lucked out!) The staff was very nice, our room was basic with the perfect amount of amenities for the price.... more
