Thorns recommdations on the area lead us to the most romantic dinner locations I've ever encountered - she won't steer wrong with advice. The bathroom is amazing. Our only regret is we could've & didn't stay longer. The staff are friendly and we felt both looked after & left alone. If I had to critise, i'd say the bed was... More

My wife and I just spent two nights at Casa Thorn. We are from Texas and were visiting the Keys for the first time. Originally, we thought we'd go to one of Islamorada's resorts, but those places were very pricey. We settled on Casa Thorn, and were delighted. We stayed in the Secret Garden Room, which was fabulous. That room... More

This inn is a secret gem in busy Islamorada. It's like taking a step back in time. The staff couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. The full breakfast, included with the room, is fabulous and delivered right to your private patio. I loved staying here and recommend it highly. More

Really loved this place. Comfortable, friendly and welcoming with a lovely home-cooked breakfast. Perfect place to stay when exploring the Keys. Room 3, where we stayed, is spacious and attractively decorated with everything you need, but the Moroccan room is ultra-luxurious. Great value, superb staff and a very, very special to stay..... Don't miss this little gem in Islamorada. More

We stayed in room number three which was large, comfortable, clean and wonderfully quirky! The staff were friendly, helpful and charming. Breakfast was excellent and is no longer vegetarian (unless you want to be) We loved staying here and the location made it possible to see a lot of the Keys in the short time we had. When we first arrived and saw the camel out front we knew we were in for a different experience. Loved the room. We were in the secret garden room. A private court yard for a great breakfast. The staff was wonderful and friendly. Next trip we will have to try the Moroccan room, one heck of a bathroom with a... More

I spent a long weekend in the Keys seeking sunshine, beaches, great seafood and R&R. Luckily, I stumbled upon Casa Thorn B&B on the web and stayed there. Miss Thorn is a true Renaissance woman, who had the vision to create a lovely, hidden gem. She, with the help of her awesome staff offer a pool surounded by lovely gardens,... More

Casa Thorn is a wonderful escape and a perfect romantic getaway! Miss Thorn was very sweet and accommodating. The property is eclectic and unusual, and I almost felt as if my suite (The Moroccan room) could double as the setting for an Ian Fleming novel with James Bond himself relaxing in the jucuzzi with a vintage bottle of bollinger chamnpagne!... My husband and I stayed at Casa Thorn in the Moroccan Room over Thanksgiving weekend 2011. I'm late reviewing, as I had hoped to add some photos with the review, but I may just add some later. I had researched their website and all the reviews here on TA beforehand. I was specifically looking for a pet friendly place also,... More

My boyfriend and I had never been to the Keys and were going for NYE 2012, so selecting a B&B online based on pictures and pricing was with a little hope and a prayer. We no longer had a single doubt from the moment we drove up to the front of Casa Thorn and saw a lush landscape with charmingly... More
