We booked the Cheeca lodge for one night. Checkin was great. We were offered champagne and didn't have to stand on a line. All the amenities were explained, but we weren't going to be there long enough to take advantage of any of them. Our room was lovely, but some of the furniture was a bit worn. For the prices... More

Stayed in a lagoon view room and loved the Tommy Bahama design. The bathroom had a soaking tub and fantastic shower however both were in serious need of repair or better yet replacement. Both were cracks, stains and shower door was broken. For the price, these maintenance issues are unacceptable. Otherwise, I'd give the place 5 stars. We loved the... More

We were told, "everyone in South Florida loves Cheeca" and now we know why! Amazing lush tropical getaway that is miles apart from the rest of Florida and so much closer (and better) than Key West. Make sure to go to Pierre's to watch the sunset, and then walk across the street and eat at Chef Michaels. You will thank... More

Allow me to start with the fact that whomever set up this resorts online advertising did a phenominal job. Basically, false advertising. If you have a family you have one pool, and a SMALL filthy beach. They do have an adult pool, so if you do not have kids, that is another option. People would walk into the pool area... More

I visited Cheeca for a long weekend with my girlfriends. We stayed in one of the newer (renovated) rooms and it was well appointed. The tub on the balcony is a nice touch which I likely would have used during a romantic getaway, not the girls weekend. The resort has a lot to offer and though you pay a resort... More

We stayed in a beach front deluxe bungalow at a rate (after the resort fee, taxes etc) of a little over 600. The view was great, but they have really let the unit get tired, they have three lights in the bathroom one had just an exposed bulb, torn screens in the front porch, screen door would not close tight.... We were thrilled to hear you enjoyed the view from your bungalow, but not so thrilled about your feedback on your accommodations and service. We regret that we did not meet your expectations, and are working now to fix the issues you raised. We believe that are rates reflect excellent value, and are in line with other resorts of our... First time writing a review but felt the need to vent! My family and I booked a trip quite awhile ago to stay at this hotel in a few weeks. This was to be our first trip, traveling with our infant and my husband and I were a bit uptight for obvious reasons. We normally stay at 4 or 5... More

Upon arrival we were made to feel welcome with a glass of bubbly , this was a nice touch and appreciated after such long drive. We walked straight through reception and thought wow, what a view the ocean looked fantastic, sun was shining there was a long pier and some children were fishing off the end. Our room was a... More

I stayed here about 7 or 8 years ago and fell in love with the place. I stayed in the main building and found it lovely and peaceful. My recent stay was a major disappointed. the rooms are run down, stairwells and elevators dirty. Doors that need repairs and a fresh coat of paint would to wonders for the rooms.... More

We are so happy you returned again after so many years, and that you appreciated our beautiful beach, pier and gardens, as well as the very popular Tiki Bar. We took your feedback about your accommodations to heart, and we are addressing the issues one by one, and we will get them resolved. We truly hope you will reconsider another... More

My husband and I just returned from a 4 night stay and it more than met my expectations. We splurged on an ocean front room in the main lodge and while it was very nice it wasn't worth what they charge. There aren't many other resorts of this caliber in the Keys so perhaps that is why they can get... More
