My family spent 4 nights here in August of 08. The accomodations are very basic but clean and pleasant. First a description of the property, then the positives and negatives.

At first look the "resort" looks like a very large house built in the 30's and updated last in the early 80s. It is on the water with great views. There is a very nice pool and a ladder to climb down into the ocean for a swim there too. The whole pool area is pretty and makes a nice place to hang out and get some sun.

The hotel is surrounded by dense Jungle type folliage. Very thick. Each room feels very private. We were the only ones there for the first 2 nights. Next door is a boat rental company. They have fishing charters and will also rent out boats to you for solo trips with a captain or you piloting yourself.

The owner/operator lives there and is really nice. At night the locals including the owner of the boat docks next door sit and BBQ and have a few beers watching... more
