Tranquility bay resort is an excellent place to wind down and chill. The pool and beach area kept the kids happy.......snorkling.......fishing.........all the watersports available right off the beach!!!! I stayed at unit #1 - probably the best unit, off by itself in a quiet corner. My kids loved to play in the sand right in front. The resort is first rate - highly recomended!!! more

This hotel is below average and behind the times. While they do have WiFi they do not have a business center for those travelers who want to keep in contact but do not want to have to bring computers. this 'resort' is anything but a resort. The beach reaks of rotten seaweed which makes it un-swimmable. the rental units are not very well maintained. furniture are old and creaky. Rooms are small with barely any room for luggage(esp the 2 bdrm unit). Lots of hidden costs: ie. resort fee(~27/day). They take a huge authorization charge when you first sign-in.... more
