Faro Blanco no longer exists. They have torn it up and razed it. more

We stayed at Faro Blanco a couple of years ago. We stayed in the lighthouse, lower unit. It was way cool - two bedrooms, kitchen, living room - literally right on the water. Nice pool. Good restaurant. Our kids still talk about it as one of their favorites. Only drawback was that we could hear people in the shop down... more

How can any respectable "resort" expect to rent out a houseboat unit that is not even secure against intrusion from the locals for a $135.00 price tag? Aside from the fact that the houseboat adjacent to the reserved unit was under water, the keys to the front door fit the unit next door!! Definitely NOT worth half of what these... more
