We stayed here on our way to Orlando and checked in pretty late at night and put our sleeping kids straight to bed. My husband was walking to the bathroom and almost fell because the carpet was soaked (saturated). No water in the bathroom floor (?). We called the clerk and he was very nice and offered to move us, but our kids were asleep so he brought us some towels to soak up the floor. When we put the towels down they immediately turned a dark brown - NASTY! He said they had been doing some plumbing work in some of the rooms? On our way back from Orlando we called them because the night clerk told us he would give us a discount because of the awful experience we had. He was not there and a woman clerk offered to give us a $2.00 discount. INSULTING!! And she had even heard of our experience. Needless to say we left and stayed somewhere else. The only good part of this stay was the night clerk who felt awful and was very apologetic! I wish I could remember his name. Will... more
